MegaPro School International Seminar
On June 17, 2026, staff members of the University’s Scientific Library participated online in the MegaPro School International Seminar, held at the Kazakh-British Technical University (KBTU). At the special invitation of Data Express, Saltanat Zheniskyzy Saduakhasova, Head of the Library and Information Services Digitalization Department, attended the seminar in person and delivered a presentation titled “Digital Transformation of the Scientific Library of Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University.”
In her presentation, Saltanat Zheniskyzy shared the Scientific Library’s experience in implementing and using the MegaPro Automated Library Information System at Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University. Our colleague’s participation in an international seminar and her exchange of professional experience with the developers of MegaPro represent a significant achievement and a source of great pride for the University’s Scientific Library.
The seminar addressed current issues related to the automation and digitalization of libraries in education, science, and culture, the effective use of modern digital technologies, and new opportunities for professional development. Participants explored innovative ideas and exchanged experience and information aimed at improving library services.
Such professional meetings help library specialists enhance their qualifications, adopt best practices, and strengthen international cooperation.
