A New Construction Textbook Has Been Added to the Library Collection
Saken Seitkanuly Uderbayev, Doctor of Technical Sciences and Professor of the Architecture and Construction educational programme at the Institute of Engineering and Technology, donated his textbook Technology of Precast Reinforced Concrete Products and Structures to the University’s Scientific Library.
The textbook focuses on the technology of precast reinforced concrete products and structures. It presents a classification of product-moulding methods, the physical and mechanical principles of moulding and compacting concrete mixtures, as well as methods for placing and distributing concrete. It also describes the preparation and lubrication of moulds and the specific requirements for lubricants.
This publication is intended for undergraduate, master’s and doctoral students at higher education institutions specialising in construction and the technology of precast reinforced concrete products and structures.
